Our Melanin MagEK Products Plus 2 New Products!!

Happy February!! It’s my birthday month and so I am super excited already but I’m even more excited because of all the products we have coming for Melanin MagEK! But before we get into it let me tell you about our current products.

First on our plate, we have our masks and moisturizers. We released our first mask back in May and that was our infamous Turmeric Mask ! I was obsessed with what turmeric was doing in my life because I was using it in my teas and loved the oils, so it made so much sense to incorporate a turmeric product into our shop. The yellow spice has anti-inflammatory properties, helps dark circles, and increases face elasticity.

Along with the turmeric mask we have our turmeric ‘Shika Butter’ shea butter. Along with all that turmeric does, shea butter is great for stretch marks and it overall soothes, moisturizes, and tones the skin.

The Dela Rose Moisturizer and the Dela Rose Mask is our most relaxing of the masks and moisturizer combinations! We use rose essential oils to give it that rose scent and to also promote calmness and a stress relief. These products are great for eczema and can reduce the appearance of scars.

The Precious Cucumber Moisturizer and Precious Cucumber Mask soothes out the skin in ways you can only imagine! The cucumber essential oils not only hydrates but brings that inner glow on the outside. It really makes you feel like you’re lounging by the pool with cucumbers on your eyes and a drink in your hand.

And the last of our mask and moisturizers is the Matcha Mama Moisturizer and the Matcha Mama Mask. They are our must hydrating products and the matcha powder reduces inflammation AND hyper pigmentation so well! That’s probably why its our best seller.

As for our main course and the main reason I started Melanin MagEK, is our subscription beauty boxes. Our beauty boxes contain makeup, skincare, haircare, self-care, and an afro-centered product. You can get these boxes with a subscription or on a month to month basis. The products within the boxes are all products that should be great for all your melanated beauty needs for all skin types  and shades. And now for our new products! On February 8th, we will be releasing our rose water and glycerin serum, “Lija Water”. Rose Water is great for soothing the skin, improving the mood, and promotes anti-aging. Glycerin protects the skin, keeps all the moisture on the skin, and improves the skin’s resilience. With these two elements together this Lija Water is unstoppable, plus its super cute. Be on the lookout for the announcement later this week!

Lastly, I am obsessed with my lips being hydrated at all times, so I always keep something that will keep them looking hydrated and healthy. Sometimes people forget to focus on their lips but having a super hydrating lip balm makes you only have to use it once and not reapply for hours!
